Arrangement Details:

  • Key Signature: A Minor - Relative to C Major - no sharps or flats
  • Time Signature: 4/4
  • Tempo: slow deliberate pace
  • Metronome: ♩ = 64
  • Voice Range: E4 - F5

🎸 Beginner Guitarists:

  • D/F# and C7/E are both very accessible chords.

C7/E is especially easy — it’s just a standard C7 chord, but you strum all 6 strings instead of just 5.

    D/F# has 3 voicings:
The first voicing is ideal for players with a good hand span. It involves using your thumb to stretch over the top of the neck and fret the low F# on the 6th string. With this voicing, you can play all 6 strings.

The second voicing is a simplified version using just the top four strings, making it a great alternative if you're not comfortable using your thumb yet.

The third voicing involves playing the D chord with your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers, leaving the 1st finger free to play the F# bass-note. This is the easiest for smaller hands.

If you find D/F# too confusing or tricky to play due to the stretch, you can simply play a regular D chord instead — it still sounds fine.
